About Me

Hello and welcome to Coffeemakerpedia.com. My name is Pablo Barrantes, and I’m behind this modest website dedicated to coffee and coffee makers.

Pablo Barrantes, owner, writer and editor on Coffeemakerpedia.com

I have to admit that my weakness has always been long conversations with great company and even better coffee. Find a cozy spot serving an authentic espresso or a wonderful cappuccino with froth until the last sip.

I studied industrial engineering at the University of Extremadura in Spain, where I completed a degree that was supposed to last 3 years but took me 6. Before you judge, you should know that I worked in coffee shops during my studies. I also spent a lot of time in the university cafe :).

My friends and family always turned to me when they had coffee-related questions or needed to fix their coffee machines. Remember, I’m an industrial engineer and pretty good at assembling and disassembling things. So, one day, I started writing down all the questions they asked me so I wouldn’t have to repeat the same thing ten times. Now I say, “That’s already written on the website.”

So stick around, and if you ever need help with anything, let me know through the comments.

You can also find me on LinkedIn.

Best regards, Pablo.
